DNA Contracting: A Congenital Defect?

West 78th Street and Broadway, New york, NY

This guy has got $2,265 in unpaid tickets, and he loves to park straddling the sidewalk and the bike lane. I've caught him here repeatedly (usually he's in his other truck: http://nyc.mybikelane.com/?plate=xc296s&state=NJ). I think his business must be named "DNA contracting" because he is genetically incapable of following the law.

Garden of Eden trampling on pedestrian and cyclists rights

Clinton St and Montague St, Brooklyn, NY

The city really needs to do something to solve this problem. Allowing delivery trucks to drive up on to sidewalks is certainly not the best solution.

USPS truck under a no standing sign

Clinton St and Pierrepont St, Brooklyn, NY

He made sure to get up on the sidewalk just enough to avoid getting even an inch of his vehicle outside of the bike lane.

NJ Repeat Offender

West 78th Street and Broadway, New york, NY

Here's the same guy as in post http://nyc.mybikelane.com/post/index/181, in the same location and up to his old tricks: blocking both the sidewalk and the bike lane and creating an unsafe condition for everyone. He saw me taking the photo (inset, left) and came up to tell me I should "go to work" and stop bothering him. I patiently explained to him that he was forcing pdestrians and bicyclists into the street but he just kept yelling that I should "get to work" (inset, right). Just because you're "doing work" doesn't mean you have a license to do this, pal. I hope no one gets hurt, but if they do, hopefully they will find this post and will be able to use it to nail him (legally speaking) to the wall.

Illegal Parking, New Jersey Style

West 78th Street and Broadway, New york, NJ

This guy is so selfish that he has to take up both the sidewalk and part of the bicycle lane with his van. As you can see from the picture on the right, he could have backed down the driveway, but for whatever reason he chose not to. As a result, this woman had to push the infant in a stroller out into traffic in order to make it down the street.

Cops parked on sidewalk

Smith St. and State St., Brooklyn, NY

Ok, so not a bikelane, but damn, parking on a sidewalk is even more retarded. And, cops of all people are always parkin' on the freakin' sidewalk at Smith & State. By their "broken window" theory, I should start crappin' on the sidewalk and doing drugs with old ladies or something.
