This guy almost hit a cyclist as he backed up, but didn't even take the spot that was available.

After Bill Hogans from Frito Lay refused to do anything about this situation, I got in touch kate.didriksen@fritolay.com, who informed me that if this driver, whose name is Lewis, had the opportunity, he would not park in the bike lane.

It seemed that the word got through for at least one day, while Lewis still parked illegally in the bike lane buffer, he atleast left the actual lane clear. (check past violations for this vehicle)

Now it seems, Frito Lay's drivers are back to their old dangerous parking habits.

Frito Lay, why did you lie to NYC cyclists?

Frito Lay still doesn't care about the safety of NYC cyclists.

It seems the calls to this drivers supervisors have done something, but he's still parking inside the buffer which is dangerous and illegal. It also makes it a death trap for pedestrians (who stupidly choose to walk in the bike lane).

This dude again. This time, he had enough room to park safely against the curb, but was too lazy to do so. He then chats with his friend in the bike lane and I'm forced out of my lane because of his stupidity.

Nice hiring, Frito Lay.

The driver of this truck "Lewis" apparently fails to see the danger of this parking violation and continues to park here, when there are, infact, other safer places to park in the area.

William Hogans, the drivers employer, informed me that he would not take action on the issue.

I contacted William Hogans from Frito Lay about this violation last week when I cut my hand on this truck when I was forced around it. The truck was back again this Friday morning.

I sustained an injury, however minor, because of this driver who parks his truck here for hours at a time, all throughout the year.

The number on the side of the truck gives you an 'emergency' option, but you can't get through before 8am and there is no way to leave a message.

The same truck that sat in this spot many mornings last school year is back again.

Worst parking job in NYC award goes to this guy. Last time he parked in this bike lane he was askew into traffic because a truck was parked askew in the normal parking spots. This time he was diagonal into the bike lane and out into traffic for no apparent reason.
