I see this all the time in the same area on my way to school. As soon as I get my camera fixed I will continue to document these flagrant violations by those paid to protect our safety.

do the same cops use the same vechile all the time, cause if so, then it is this particular cop who regularly forces bikers into the street and face possible death. what a guy

I don't know if they are assigned vehicles over a long term. This may just be a spare vehicle tht Midtown North (the precinct located on this corner) likes to keep parked in the bike lane for the convenience of any officer that may need to use it. It has turned up in this spot more than once.
