This woman almost sideswiped me with her truck, and then stopped right in front of me, as if I wasn't there. Naturally, I slapped her truck to let her know I was there. She got out and yelled at me. I told her I only did so because she almost drove into me. "Good!", she yelled. I immediately got on the phone to call 311, and upon seeing this, she sped out of the bike lane and drove away, not before flipping me the bird.
I don't want to stereotype, but geez, these SUV drivers really do think that their vehicle IS them, and yet seemingly have no concern about the world outside their vehicle.

Why exactly were you going to call 311? I always run the other way when I think somebody is calling 311.

You're right, I should have called 911 and gotten the cops to charge her.
Oh wait, who am I kidding?

Charge her with what? She didn't commit a crime.
Whether you call 311 or 911 the call still ends up getting routed to the police.

She broke at least 3 laws - failure to signal, driving across a bike lane, and reckless driving.
