MyBikeLane

At 7:30 am on 7 may 2008 a film crew had the west-bound bike lane on w77th between central park west and columbus blocked. there were several large vehicles obstructing the bike lane; where there were no vehicles orange cones had been placed in the middle of the lanes to prevent them from being used by cyclists. when i attempted to move said cones out of the bike lane two portly men (obviously taking advantage of the film's buffet) got into my face, one of them threatening me, saying ''don't fuck with my cones.'' he apparently feels that a city-issued film permit is a license to usurp the bike lane.
