You have an unattended motor vehicle that is idling and a vehicle in a bike lane...what is the third violation?

He would be cited for double parking or the bike lane but not both. In this case that would be double jeopardy.

Neither example stated is an example of double jeopardy. That would require a conviction in a court of law, and a subsequent attempt at conviction for the same act.

Yeah, I am under the impression that paraderest is a cop. You would think the police would understand the legal system a bit better given they are an integral part of it. Judging from this site and from uncivilservants.org, apparently not.
