On an Illegal Parking Jag

This jaguar was parked, with no passengers, idling for at least 20 minutes, because I saw it coming and going on West 77th. The construction contractor has a permit to take the parking lane (Graciano Corporation, permits M022007008062, M022007011041, M022007011052, see http://a841-dotweb01.nyc.gov/permit/permit/web_permits/returnPermits.asp), and has done the right thing by posting "no parking" signs to prevent parking here. The signs were probably motivated more by Graciano's desire to enhance its own access to the site, not out of concern for the bike lane, but that's OK. Anyway, this idiot in the Jaguar just ignores the signs, ignores the bike lanes, ignores basic common sense and leaves the car idling here with no occupants.

Well, it is a Jaguar, so he is likely *entitled* to park where he wants.

Turns out this loser has $345 in unpaid tickets, including 2 tickets for parking in the bike lane in this exact spot!

Steve, if you see this car again, please call 311 to have it towed. $345 in unpaid tickets make it elligible for immediate towing.
