Bikelane Valet Parking?!

Hudson River Cafe hires TriState Parking to run their valet parking business in the bike lane on 12th Avenue and 133rd Street. The valet told me he's out there everyday after 5pm. This is dangerous activity for bikers since the valet parking should just use the curb where the cars park.
Call the Hudson River Cafe and TriState Parking and ask them to obey the law.

Thanks for your calls! Hopefully the "West Harlem Piers" & greenway will be completed soon and no more weaving in between Fairway delivery trucks and now valet parking.

I just got this email from the Parking company:

The sign was moved away from the bike lane.
I spoke to Kathy of Hudson Cafe and we are working together to resolve all your issues as best we can.

Follow-up with the precinct by calling the Community Affairs officer if you do not get results. Request a meeting and offer to fax or mail a printout of this page.
