I have this trick where I stand, one foot on the stem and one foot on the saddle. I coast right through spaces like this.
Seriously, with the pedestrian barrier at this spot, there is not even an excuse that it is the most convenient place to park. Move it, you idiot!

Rite Aid may need some Rite Driving Aid -- they have a habit of unloading actually inside the 9th avenue car-free reservation. And they hire off-duty cops as "security" to intimidate people documenting the practice. Will post when I organize myself.

Yeah, I was cursed at by a big burly white bald guy when I was documenting Rite Aid's violation in the 9th ave bike lane a few weeks ago.
