Isn't that 42nd and 8th? The laugh factory used to be, I think, the Triplex, porn mecca of 8th Ave. And the truck is kinda-sorta in the buffer and not so much in the bike lane; the bike lane there is flush to the curve. That placement is very dangerous because buses (as well as cars and trucks) turn left there across the lane, and you don't really have an out. I recommend to everyone NOT being in the bike lane on that block.
Despite the insane situation at the end of the block, I feel like I should try to make a point of using the bike lane even it if is more dangerous. I don't mind going very slowly so long as I make a point of using the bike lane.
