By my reckoning, MyBikeLane is 1 year old today! Congratulations to the innovator of this pioneering open-source people's law enforcement site.
This van has it's hands spread wide open and is clapping for MyBikeLane . . . not.

I think I actually launched this Sep 4th, so still a few more weeks before a one year birthday.
As this is a community driven site, the birthday wishes should go to every single person who posts to the site. This includes the other cities on MBL (check out Toronto) as well as the other face to the site (uncivilservants.org). I always meant this site to be a means to give a voice to the community and it makes my day to see people using it, and more importantly to see the city (NYC) start to respond.

What threw me was the first post on the site, taken August 23, 2006. Anyway thanks for all your hard work on this site and uncivil servants--looking forward to getting back into posting this fall.

I had been gathering photos for a month prior to launching so I had some content to seed the site when it first launched.

I like this place better than uncivilservants!
Too bad I didn't find it a year ago, I'd have a camera phone by now!
