Same one as in the morning! Wow, calling the safety number sure did a lot of motherfucking good. Thanks, assholes!

Has anyone EVER seen a police officer giving someone a ticket for parking in a bike lane? Truthfully.

Actually, there's some cops who do it ALOT, today this one cop gave one ticket to a fedex truck, and then when the fedex guy removed the ticket but didn't moive the vehicle the cop gave him a SECOND ticket for the same violation. then i gave him a high five, and he explained that he understands why cyclists really hate cars in the bike lane.

Never though, have I seen an officer issue one of the above vehicles a ticket. Did you know the brinks trucks have police-style sirens?

I did not know that the brinks trucks have police sirens but that does not surprise me one bit.

I saw bike cops giving a Kingsboro Taxi a ticket in a bike lane (Toronto). Didn't seem to do much good, because 2 months later I saw the same cab parked (unattended!) in the bike lane across the street, while the driver was over talking to another cabbie.

Rather, if what you say is true, then I'm pretty sure that's illegal. I'm not crazy enough to go through the regs right now, I would need a few drinks for that, but I believe any vehicle equipped with a police style siren or light (instead of yellow waring/safety lights) is in violation of the law.
