I'm curious about ticketing in this situation. My photographs show a violation of the bicycle lane (i.e. a $115 fine), but they also show a car willfully driving up the divided lane. At what point is this reckless endangerment?
If that guy got arrested for reckless endangerment the ADA who catches the case would laugh their a** off. That case would never even make it to arraignment.
I've seen sillier things get arraigned and pursued by the ADA, some even going for 9 or more months before the ADA admits to the silliness and drops the charges.

In Kings County?
Maybe if the guy was doing 70mph through the bike lane. Maybe.

Driving 70mph through a dedicated bike lane is your example of something silly to be arrested for?

I said maybe the case would make it to a Kings County court room. I said nothing about it being silly.
