UPS - Take 2
8th Street and 2nd Avenue, New york, NY
So after I went home to drop some stuff off, I rode out again (with a different camera) and saw the same UPS vehicle ticked just one block before for the sam violation parked in the bike lane again.
Way to put people in danger, UPS.
UPS (Take 1)
10th Street and 2nd Avenue, New york, NY
This was the first violation of this vehicle spotted today.
Driver - What are you doing?! You like taking pictures!?!"
Me - Yeah.......
that was about it.
Top Offender caught once again
2nd avenue and east 10th st, New york, NY
This guy just never learns.
UPS - A tradition of disrespect and disregard for safety.
East 10th Street and 2nd Avenue, New york, NY
UPS - First to reach 10 violations (for a single vehicle) documented on nyc.mybikelane.com
This might make a touching moment - put it on the UPS website and demonstrate not only their diversity, but the true care they put into training new drivers.
Until you realize that this vehicle is parked in a manner that puts the safety of cyclists into jeopardy, and that the driver helping the new guy out has verbally attacked a minor who simply documented one of his previous violations.
Nice going , UPS.
Try these new slogans :
UPS - A tradition of disrespect and disregard for safety.
UPS - This package matters more than your life.
UPS - We can't get safety through our fat heads.
UPS
10th Street and 2nd Avenue, New york, NY
Sorry - didn't have my normal camera with me so I had to use the camera phone.
This driver was parked in the same spot yesterday - UPS told me they would take action when I spoke with the station manager for this driver YESTERDAY - and today, the driver is in the same spot when she has plenty of space on the other side of the street where cyclists will be put in danger.
UPS - Think what?
162 2nd Avenue, New york, NY
That's one of their "think safety" signs blowing in the wind there.
