NY 49738 JG was caught parked in a bike lane in New York 9 times
Showing violations for license plate: NY 49738 JG (clear)

There were actually eight vehicles parked in this stretch of bike lane, but I gave up after photographing four of them.
New week, same story: UPS being jerks
248 lafayette st, New york, NY
Note once again just how much curb space was available to UPS; neither of the guys on truck 107968 care about SAFETY. This is the eighth time you've been photographed for this website. UPS pays lip service to SAFETY by tacking banners on the rear of their trucks rather than counseling their unionized drivers on what constitutes acceptable parking. So today I am printing out all the photographs of this driver's violations and mailing it to Laurie Mallis of public relations division at UPS HQ in Atlanta (tel. 404-828-7183) as well as three newspaper editors in Manhattan. This will make a wonderful newspaper story, full of data and photographs depicting how the majority of top bike lane violators in New York City are UPS employees.
UPS driver ignores safety
248 lafayette st, New york, NY
Enough room at the curb for three UPS trucks. This UPS driver instead parks in the bike lane to highlight his total disregard of that big orange SAFETY banner. This truck has a minimum of 14 violations since summer, over $1400 in fines, and FIVE WERE IN THE BIKE LANE. Clickthrough for the photo of this truck's tickets. Amazing this guy and his manager still don't get it...there are now SEVEN DIFFERENT PHOTO-DOCUMENTED COMPLAINTS depicting his poor driving record posted to this website.
Angry UPS man in the bike lane
Lafayette and Spring, New york, NY
This guy went nuts on me because "I did not give you permission to take my picture!". He jumped out of his van and came at me in a fairly psychotic and threatening manner. Cussed me.
I guess he forgot that he was the one breaking the law.
UPS in front of the LBS again
Spring and Lafayette, New york, NY
UPS loves to take the bike lane. Seems they either don't get ticketed much, or don't care when they do. I encourage all viewers of this to use this site as proof to complain to UPS about their blatant disregard for NYC biker safety.
UPS at the LBS talkin bout safety! Ironic?
Spring St and Lafayette, New york, NY
Found this guy parked in front of the LBS (Bicycle Habitat on Lafayette btw) making a delivery to the shop. Is that irony? Think safety? Is that irony?
Also, the driver looks pretty damned familiar.
Ahhh UPS
Spring St and Lafayette St, New york, NY
This guy was parked right in front of a local bike shop and was just standing around chatting. When I informed him he was parked illegally, he gave me a snarky "Thank you sir" and went back to chatting.
